Selling used dvds to DVDPlanet.com

I know this is the wrong forum to put this in - I'm pretty sure it should go in the Store Forum, but I figured more people would see it here for a brief period of time - sorry mods.

Anyway, I'm planning on selling some dvds to DVDPlanet.com - I used their "quote machine" and came up with about $425 for some dvds I was looking to sell...so my question is this:

Has anyone ever sold their dvds to DVDPlanet.com?

I searched the store forum, but couldn't find anything. As anyone would be, I'm a little hesitant to just send off $425 worth of dvds to someone without some prior feedback from other people who have dealed with DVDPlanet.com. Also, do I receive a check for these, or is it for store credit only?

Thanks in advance for any help - it's greatly appreciated!

Store credit only, as far as I know. I've sold DVDs to them multiple times. As long as the disks and cases are in good shape, they take them. I'm happy with the prices they offer and the service. Plus, the store's prices for new DVDs is very competitive. So, I don't mind that I must spend my credit through them.

My only complaints is that it can take a month some times before you're credit is available. No instant gratification there...

Thanks for the timely response Crumps -

I checked out some other used dvd sites - the most it seems I can get for the same dvds at other sites is around $300 cash - so it's $300 in cash versus $425 in store credit at DVDPlanet -

How do you use the store credit? Can you use, say, $10 at a time...

Example: say a dvd costs $25...can I charge $15 and use $10 in store credit?

Thanks in advance for any help - it's greatly appreciated!

This is probably best in the Store Forum (regardless of who will see for a short time, it still is against rules i believe).

No, It will apply store credit until it is all used up. Your first $425 in purchases will use the store credit. It can however be combined with the coupons they offer helping make a good deal better. Oh, and I have sold probably 1000+ in used with DVDPlanet, if they don't like it, they mail it back to you. No real problem. I get a few back from time to time, but I can't complain.
