Anyone ever shop at bestpricecameras.com

They do have a hell of a price on the Canon Digital Rebel XTi but I don't know how reliable they are.

When doing research for my new camera, beachcameras.com ended up being the cheapest with the best rating. Maybe that will help.

A lot of domains for one crappy building. Is that common?

Site too good to be true? - need advice

I'm planning to get a Canon XTI camera and came across this site

The price for this camera is generally $800 but they have it listed at $219 with free shipping.

Also they have more than 2000 reviews, mostly positive but they could have done it themselves.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. I know, if it's too good to be true, it probably is but that's a lot of savings.

They have a lifetime rating of 0.25 out of 10 on resellerratings.com.
I don't think I've ever seen such a low rating before.

Matrix,

Most of these sites are linked to shitty storefronts in Brooklyn. When they advertise that low, they hook you into buying more crap from them. So, to make up in price, they'll want you to buy $500-$1000 in accessories. And if you don't, they'll say it's on backorder, and you probably won't see it for months, if at all.

What they advertise are usually grey-market goods.

Do yourself a favor and pay what the camera is actually worth from a place like Newegg. Save yourself the nightmares and headaches of dealing with a place like this.

As Jah has said, every single post on resellerratings describes the same thing - crooks!

Best Price Cameras.com a scam or real legit trustworthy site?

Look at the price of this Sony HDV camcorder, which runs $3800 sale on amazon.com, and other camcorder sites like http://www.bhphotovideo.com. I was shocked at the price of the Canon XL H1 HD camcorder which was $8000 on sale on most sites. And on this site is in the $3000 range.

If anyone has ordered from here before. Please let me know. Since this seems too good to be true. But if legit,it's one hell of a deal.

There's a great site out there called resellerratings.com.

I lookup up bestpricecameras.com (a.k.a Infiniti Photo). They have a score of 0 of 10. Getting a rating that poor requires a lot of pissed of people.

Edit: Damn. 2 minutes too slow!

Thanks for the info. I was suspecting that was the case, but wanted to make sure. Since the fake 'great ratings' made the site show up on many price comparison sites. And I even typed in 'scam' in search using the site name and didn't find anything.

Total scam store; true example of never selling an item at the advertised price.
Store Name...Rating...Reviews
MTV.com 0.40 56
Best Price Cameras [infinitiphoto.com, jandkcameras.com] 0.42 282

Notice these dvd sellers that are mentioned from time to time on these threads.
