DDD Return Problems

Well I've been happily shopping at DDD for about 2 years now, mainly loading up during their sale with some scattered titles in between, probably similar to most people. I never received any damaged items til this past sale, where 3 tv sets (out of about 9 ordered) arrived damaged (2 dented/crushed and one with a slice in it).

I waited a couple weeks but eventually emailed CS and got a return label. I then waited another couple weeks before actually sending them in. Finally sent them approximately 6-7 weeks ago. I've emailed DDD for upodates and they state they never received the package, they ask me if I have a receipt from the Post Office showing I sent it. But I don't, I handed the box to the lady at the Post Office and she said ok and took it and I was out of there.

I'm trying to explain this to CS but they are being a bit difficult (I can't blame em, I'm sure people misrepresent stuff like this to get free stuff) but what can I really do? I told them I used their label and they should be able to track it somehow.

Would I be better off calling them as opposed to using email? Or do they have the same people handling both?

Thanks for any help.

-Mike

Two words: Delivery Confirmation. Two more words: Shipping Insurance.

Honestly, if you have no proof that it was mailed or delivered... Things get lost in the mail every so often, it happens. Or, some dipshit at the store doesn't log it properly. Either way 2 those 4 words above would have taken care of the problem. Wish I could say something else to help ya out but you may be screwed here...

Calling is always better than email. Ask for Dave.
