Amazon vs Play.com (International)
I've ordered off both and have come to the conclusion that Play.com is better.
Amazon are cheaper with some items, but the same goes with play.com, but I prefer Play.com.
First off, Amazon take AGES with delivery. I ordered dvds nearly two weeks ago and the delivery date is sometime next week. What is that? I refuse to pay €20.00 more just for quicker delivery. I live in Ireland, so I don't get their free when you spend over £15.00 thingy.
With Play.com, everything is free delivery. They take about 1-2 days to dispatch and you get your stuff within 6 days.
Amazon have a better catalog though, but Play beats it with the prices.
That's just my opinion.
For rare dvds I'll use Amazon, but for everything else I'll use play.com.

I agree with you. Amazon does have nice prices as well, they together with choices dvd, are selling the x files boxsets for 12.95!!!
Best price ever, a dream for a x files collector 3 years ago, when they were like 80/90 pounds lol.
But I agree, overall play is better, but I don't close myself off to amazon, because they can do some cool prices sometimes, like the x files offer. While Play isn't doing it.

Play is good for people in North America and Europe.
Amazon is really slow in shipping.. no doubt about that.
I still have another shipment pending in my order. I am thinking to cancel it and bid it in Ebay ..
