Scarecrow Video

I came across this site earlier today, whilst looking for an out of print DVD that I've been wanting to get. They have a good deal on it and the place seems pretty legit. But, before I order, I want to make sure that they're trustworthy. Has anyone on this forum ever ordered from, or been there?

Scarecrow is awesome! I've never ordered from their web site but I've rented from their b&m a ton. You know they are crazy movie buffs when they arrange their shelves by director.

I've been to the b&m too. Great selection and ditto about the director thing, but when I rented a vhs, they made me put down a $100 deposit because they said it was out of print. I got it back, fortunately.

Thanks for all your replies. I'm seriously considering ordering it. I figured the safest bet would be to ask for opinions on their service and how legit they are, considering I'll be forced to use my parents' credit card.

I have been to the B&M, and it was fine. They're a well known video store in Seattle. However, I've ordered from them twice online, the first time it all went great; the second time it all went to hell very quickly. I may have posted about it here, do a search.

Dang. Not many independent video stores that have a forum. Pretty cool...

Re: Scarecrow Video

Other than Scarecrow Video, does anyone know of any other good DVD shops up in Seattle?

I'll be going there with a friend for a week in September and I'm mostly looking for good Used shops with decent to great selection of Cult, Exploitation and Horror.
