Costco Returns...Do you have to be a member?
I have a DVD recorder I bought online from Costco about a year ago. I've been wanting to get rid of it for a while, but the nearest Costco is 2 hrs away and I was too lazy to ship it back. I'm going to be near there tomorrow shopping, and would like to return it...but I'm not a member. Will they let me return it anyways? Or do I have to become a member? Thanks.

Hi,
I would doubt being a non member you can return it..I know whenever I bring something back they ask for the receipt, member number and what is wrong with it..Make sure you
have the box and all paper work that came with it , if you try it..Hope this helps..

You may have more success returning it without being a member if you still have the invoice/receipt for it, which proves that you bought it online from them and the online return policy says that you could return the purchase to their store. Seeing that you have it for a year, they might question you why you didn't return it sooner.
