DDD Canceled my order!!!

DDD Canceled my order!!!

This is a disaster. I placed a big order last night as part of the 20% off sale.
Because it was so large, my credit card company refused the charge for "security reasons".

I fixed the problem with the CC company, but DDD now has the order listed as cancelled on my Order Status page.

The sale is over now. Will they reinstate the order at the discounted price?

they might, I think they did on previous sales. give them a call.

Call them. They will most likely re-instate the entire order and honor the 20% off prices.

DDD Canceled my order as well.
Because it was so large, my credit card company did NOT refused the charge for "security reasons" DDD did.
I called them. they want:
1. Copy of Driver’s License or Picture ID: with signature*
2. Copy of front and back of the Credit Card*
3. Copy of last credit card statement
I declined because they charged me already over 700$ in the past 5 month.
BTW: I ask them to use UPS because some shipped single DVD didn't reached me.
After this: I still get single DVD's Shipped and charged the insecure way.
Yes, they are very friendly and I'm sure I will get something they charged me for. But canceling my Order with the DVDTalk Coupon seams at least strange.

addendum
I called my credit card company:
1. my card is valid
2. DDD never requested a payment for the canceled order.
3. I' should NEVER Fax or Mail copys of the requested Documents.

If the credit card company cancelled your order then DDD didn't. Your title is a lie.

This seems to happen to me every year. (Although, thankfully, I had no issues with my credit card company this time around.) Fortunately, I always seem to catch it before the sale is over and call DDD to resubmit. Hopefully they will honor your 20% discount.

I actually got a letter from my credit card company, they apologized for denying the charge for a DDD order 2 weeks ago.

On Nov 7 I PREORDERED 2 versions of KING KONG which wasn't to be released until Nov 22. Now it is my understanding that DDD has become notorious for not mailing thier customers anything about the status of their orders, so I kept an eye on the status at their web sight. When I ordered the 2 KING KONGS I ordered 2 other DVD's, 1 that was available THEN and 1 that wasn't available until NOV 29, the 1st DVD was shipped right away. I must say that this had been the way I'd been treated by DDD all along, never a complaint.
BUT, { isn't there always a BUT }Nov 22nd rolls around and passes and neither of the KING KONGS have been shipped, I decide to take some time and give them a call to see what's up!.
Well now I get the bane to all of us, I'm talking to someone in INDIA!!!, PLEASE GOD!!! NOT THAT!!.Well this conversation goes in the toilet, but long and I mean very long story short this Guy tells me 1 of the Kongs has just shipped and should be in my mail in just a few short days and that the other DVD is being prepped for shipment. { RIGHT }
So we go thru the THANKSGIVING WEEKEND and nothing happens to the status of my DVD's until I look at the sight Monday and find that " YEAH!! " one of the DVD's has been shipped but the other has been canceled.
I call DDD again, this time I get an AMERICAN and he says yes they accidently cancelled the order but caught what the did and reordered it and it was on it's way{ Right }
Original post date on this matter was 11-30-05 it's now 12-03-05 still no DVD's
