Pricematching Policies

What are they for Best Buy, Target and Walmart? Will they pricematch a certain dollar amount before needing an ad?

Target hasn't done any pricematching for a while now. Walmart's are weird and vary from store to store, but my Walmart makes it up as they go. Sometimes they'll pricematch someone elses website printouts, sometimes they require the newspaper ad. Somedays they don't even pricematch their own site.

They will (they are supposed to), but they will take into account the shipping price to ship it to you and then if it is still cheaper they will match the online price, plus shipping.

What retailers price match? Does K-Mart still does it?

As for Wal-Mart, they do really make it up as they go. And they told me that their Wal-Mart online store was not related to their retail store and that is why they could price match for a TV that had lower price online.
