BJ's Wholesale comments?

I posted an email about this earlier today, but it has apparently disappeared. I went with a friend to Costco over the weekend and loved it. The only such place closest to me is BJ's Wholesale club, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they are as good as Costco or Sam's Club, especially with regard to DVDs. Thanks.

I had a free membership to BJs for one year and never bought a DVD from them. You will not get the same deals as Costco or Sam's on DVDs. At best, they might have a new release for $14.99 or $15.99 which will be the same as BB or CC.

They have good prices on most boxsets usually and a few of the new releases are sometimes down to about 10-11 bucks when they have instant rebates (example Spider Man 2 I got for 11.99 when it came out).

The Costco I visited over the weekend (in NJ) wasn't great as far as new releases were concerned. Fever Pitch, for instance, was $18.79 -- Best Buy had it for $16.99. But others, such as the new edition of To Kill a Mockingbird, had unbelievably low prices. I just wondered how BJ's stacked up since I will have to buy my way in.

Since my first post, however, I discovered there's also a Costco not too much farther than the BJ's. So now I have a decision to make based on feedback, which I appreciate.

my local BJs was awesome back in 2000. They would literally put out new releases 2-3 weeks before street date. Lately I haven't been buying much there at all. They do have good prices on TV sets though.
