Blockbuster.com....selection starting to suck?
Ok, I noticed Blockbuster.com USUALLY has a lot of pre-leases on their site so you can put them in your queue early.
I've noticed they do not have:
Ring Two
Ringu2
Undelcared
Brown Bunny (NC17 is it?)
Six Feet Under (S4)
I'm sure there a lots more too....kind of upsetting. I may have to go back to Netflix, I just like my in-store rentals for games (since they are $7.99 now!)

You take the good with the bad with BB's subscription service. I'm astonished that SFU Season 4 still isn't in the system. They JUST added Nip/Tuck S:2 but man, that sucker comes out next week, right? I stated this in another thread - Netflix is awesome for community centric DVD rentals and they have the largest database of fims with lots of information, but man -- those two BBV free in-stores and various other coupons get me renewing every month.

They do have holes in their inventory. i watch a lot of anime, and one series has volumes 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and now 7, but no 2. ???
It might be because someone rented it and either kept it or lost it. But I swear, submitting a missing title on their website is next to useless...

NOW, the SEARCH does not even work!

And those bozos at BB Corporate wonder why their lunch is being eaten. Here's a Clue Blockbuster: How about putting customer service and selection above your short sighted-milk-them-for-all-its-worth-while-we-vote-ourselves-18%-raises strategy you have used up to now?
Missing anime vols = yet another reason why BB is a good stock to SHORT, as companies running on autopilot never get the returns of Companies that are actively managed to retain customers. Selling candy is fine, but how about working on title availability, especially for things like series? Wish I could vote myself an 18% raise in a year I lose a$100 million. Geez, Sarbanes-PainIntheOXly has really brought corporate accountability into the picture, NOT!

It doesn't appear any of today's (8/30) releases are in stock yet (as of 11am CDT), very unusual from my experience. Usually the week's new releases go in stock and ship on Monday.
