DVD Empire is definitely legit. I have never ordered from DVD Planet, so I cannot comment about their operation.

I have never used DVDPlanet. However, DVDEmpire is as legit as they come. They aren't the best deal in town so I don't use them all the time, but they do have coupons, and have never done me wrong. Also, unlike some online sites, you have the ability to adjust or cancel your orders on your own, which is really helpful.

They both are legit. DVD Planet has been around since the 80's when they use to operate under the name Ken Crane's LD. They were sold to Image a few years back and then again to the same company that own Deep Discount DVD.com. As for DVD Empire, they have been around shortly after DVD was introduced and have become one of the leaders on the net along wih DVD Planet. So yes, they both are definately legit and very trustworthy.

I have ordered from both many times and have not had a bad experience from either.

I don't use either much (since the deals haven't been all that good when compared to other places) but I haven't had a problem w/ either one.
