Blockbuster - Can I join the monthly thing with a giftcard

I still have a gift card from the $8 buyback deal, and was thinking of signing up for the in-store monthly plan. Will they let me use the card?

I don't think so, but check with the store to be sure. I think they want something like a credit card because it can be re-billed, and a gift card can't.
