Will Sears Price Match BJs Club?

What are the chances that Sears will price match BJs?

My guess is they will not consider BJs a retail store.

Slim and none. Since it's a wherehouse type store, they don't consider them a standard retailer.

Sears will price match Plus 10% to a "retail" store.

Most stores that do that disqualify retail stores that require a paid membership (e.g. Costco, BJs).

I would say no.

I've also heard that retail stores would not match a warehouse store, but I clearly remember looking at the screen during a pricematch at Best Buy and one of the reasons why they would price match was for "price match - warehouse store".

With Sears it sometimes depends on who you ask. Sears has some strange ways of pricing and, on electronics at least, minimum prices they will give you only if you persist, or they really want a sale. You'll need some sort of proof from whatever store you are requesting for a lower price/match but its worth a try.

Along the same lines. I got rejected by Symantec for the $20 upgrade rebate on Norton AntiVirus with the notation
"Invalid Place of Purchase". When I spoke to BJs they said they were a valid place of purchase. I called Symantec yesterday and they said that BJs was valid and they reinstated my rebate.

Sears used to price match just anywhere including selected merchants on the Internet. I actually bought a microwave last year with a price match from Amazon.

The bad news--those days are gone. Sears has updated this policy about 6 months ago and now only matches retail stores as previously posted.

I use to belong to a BJ of the Month club, but that was offered through Banana Republic.

Yeah - those were the days - I price matched a 65" Hitachi HDTV a couple of years back to crazyeddie.com

I got the internet price, 10% of the difference, free dilivery, free dvd player, free 0% financing, and 10% off the base price of the set. (sears was running one of those free everything weekends - and the 10% off if you used your sears card)
