Why DVDsoon doesn't change their name to DVDslow?

Don't get me wrong, I'am very satisfied with their prices and servive.
But the time to delivery is very long.

Hotel Rwanda - 2 month till they shipped
Team america - 4 weeks
Farscape Starburst 1.2 - 3 weeks
Farscape Starburst 1.3 - I cancelled after 4 weeks
Northfork - 2 month

There have been times they have been slow, no doubt. But for the past few months I've been getting all my preorders in a timely manner, from a few days before release date to about a week after release date at the very latest. I think they've improved.

For some reason, I'm guessing that their marketing dept vetoed the name change suggestion to "DVDSlow"

I guess it wasn't considered "user friendly" enough. Also rejected:

DVDYou'll Get It When You Get It!

Small consolation, perhaps, but where I live in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, everything takes longer to get here.

P.S. My condolences on your father's passing, Dabaomb.

Wow, with shipping times like that, I wouldn't consider them at any price point.

They also bill you immediately on back ordered items, and you can't cancel an order after it's placed and get a refund, even if it isn't going to ship for months. They insist on giving you "credit".

Never again. Too many other places out there to deal with that don't have these rather unusual restrictions.

Of course you can get a refund to your CC.
