Pounds to US$ conversion at Amazon.co.uk...
There's a new Saint Etienne album coming out and I was wondering where I should place my order. CD Wow has it for $20.95 with free shipping. Amazon.co.uk has it for £11.99 which is roughly $21.99.
However, I remember reading in some International threads or somewhere about people getting things cheaper because Amazon discounts the VAT[?] or something like that. It's all very vague, which is why i'm asking..
Basically, i'm looking to get it for the cheapest possible price.

Without the VAT it comes out to £10.20 but postage adds £3.08. If you have an Amazon.com account it should also work at the Amazon.co.uk web site. If you go through checkout it will give the price without the VAT added on.

In comparing the two, don't forget the $2 discount link for CD-WOW (below (it should give you a CD-WOW site that says click here to activate discount and go shopping)):

Also something to consider if shopping at Amazon UK and depending on the the credit card you use, you might have a small additional charge (approx. 1 - 3% of total purchase price) that will be tacked on to your total cost by your card company/bank as a foreign currency conversion fee.
