Amazon.com having problems or my machine?

Right now if I try to go to www.amazon.com I get some spam web page. If I use a link inside amazon I get there but if I click "My Account" I get another different spam web page. Is it my machine is someone hijacking amazon's website?

lately, amazon won't even come up for me, and it adds all this other crap after the home page name in the browser bar. I deleted cookies and still, so i don't know.

Sounds like you have some sort of spyware that hijacked your browser. I would install some sort of anti-spyware software (I use Ad-Aware, but there are plenty to choose from).

Agreed. Some parasite is probably lurking about.

Look at the Spyware/Popup Sticky

i downloaded and ran all 3 and adaware found 1 bug, but then i restarted etc. and it still does it, i would post the string of crap that pops up after amazon.com but not sure of forum rules about links etc. Its weird because no other web page has any problems that i've found and i never have any pop ups etc.

Amazon is EXTREMELY slow right now. Try spybot as well if you're still getting spam.

I don't think it's just you... Amazon is being REALLY SLOW right now. I'm not seeing the spam thing but I'm not seeing Amazon either
