Anyone order from Inetdvd.com??
I couldn't pass up 2 deals I saw there on March 10th and, despite my better judgement, ordered from them without doing research beforehand. They appear legit, (and probably are), but I had never heard of them before. Anyone here ever try them or hear anything?
I can't remember the specific details on the 10th, as it was a hectic weekend, but the email came through on my order 2 days later, with a linkable order #. At the time it was in the 'processing stages.' A little slow with processing, especially since this isnt free shipping, but then again this happens to me often with other retailers, such as Amazon, so I wasn't too concerned.
Went to check tonight as it is now the 20th and haven't recieved anything. The website now says, under 'status' of my order:
Issue. Please contact customer service.
Ok....? I know the payment will have went through, and that the order appeared to have been processed correctly days ago. When I click to further view the order, it says it has been processed.
If there is an issue, why no email? I triple-checked both filtered mail and regular mail, and nada. Why am I supposed to go to the site and see this, and then take the first initiative to contact them?? Since they sent me an email before, I know they do have it on file.
I'm having a bad feeling I shouldn't have ordered from them without checking here first. Thankfully it's not a lot of money we're speaking of here, but still...want the films and DID pay for them.
I guess I will go ahead and "contact customer service" over an issue I know nothing about or was not emailed on and see what the issue is. Hopefully it's a small, irrevelant thing. I just don't care for the way this has been handled so far - just let the problem sit until the customer one day 'notices' it?

I've ordered from them before and they have been fine. There was one time when I ordered and I kept waiting. So I emailed them and it was something like, the paypal payment hadn't been referenced to the order? So they didn't know that the order had been paid for- they said it showed as 'abandoned' or something, but they had recieved the paypal payment......Something like that- it took me emailing them to get it resolved and to get the order and payment together, maybe thats your issue?

Inetdvd is a legit company. I've ordered DVD cases from them in the past and had no problems. In fact when the subject of where to buy cases comes up on the forum they are usually one of the first web sites that is always mentioned. Are you a 100% certain the payment has cleared? Your post was a little vague on that subject and any specifics. I would assume you used either a credit or debit card, and checked your account to verify charges were posted from Inet? Anyways I strongly suggest contacting customer service if you have a question about your order.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm certainly relieved, so won't sit here worrying. I ordered the now OOP edition of Phantasm SE, which I was foolish enough not to buy before, and for a great price, so really would like it. I emailed them last night after seeing it on the website, so will see what they have to say. Most likely, the issue is a small one. And yes, I used a debit card, not paypal. I have not checked to see if it went through (that's another story - irritations with signing on to bank online) I didn't want to start calling the bank and checking unless that turns out to be the issue. It could be something as simple as some sort of verification on my address, I have no idea. I still am concerned they never saw fit to contact me about a problem arising though. The shipment is delayed, and I would have had no clue if I didn't go and check from the original email they sent me, almost 10 days ago, that there was a problem with the order. I am sure they will reply soon and will keep everyone posted.

As an update: I have emailed them twice but have not recieved a response. I called them, a little annoyed, but spoke to a real nice customer service rep, who told me the issue was with the Phantasm disc. They test them before they go out and apparently it skipped or something and theyre finding a replacement before sending it out.
I appreciate the effort they're putting forth, so they're still OK in my book.

As an update, it is now April 3rd and still no response. I dont think anything will come out of my order, which is a shame :/ It may indeed take them this long to find another disc, but they could have contacted me in some way or replied to at least one email. Also, there was another disc in the order they could have sent me. Either way, I'm not out any money as they never charged me, I just don't see why they're not taking my order to make $$$. Doesn't make much sense. I am sure they are straight up with some orders as apparently some people here have had success with them. Just not me apparently :/
