He told me he was in his 'office' when he was telling me what titles he was offering for the free disc. And that he would have it in the mail before the Post Office closed Friday. So his office is in Delaware, his business is based in Maryland, and packages go to New York????

Wow. Um. You completely misunderstood EVERYONE in this thread. They were just estatic that someone would be selling dvds for a price under a sale price of a normal online dvd retailer. Also, your site is related to Ebay (and we all know how trustworthy a lot of Ebayers are) so you should have expected questions about that particular topic. Hardly anyone on Ebay at this time sells legit copies of dvds for cheap without their being a catch. You always have to field queries about that - you shouldn't feel demeaned or upset about them and lash out.

I also believe that they were only describing how you sounded so that they could try and be on the same page. They wanted to find out if they were talking with the same person. Again, that was not trying to diminish your character.

This site is just a group of people that are trying to help each other out. We watch out for each other. We let others in on good deals, bad deals, and what to look out for.

And now that people on this site have found out that you sell legit copies, I am sure your business is just going to rise. If I were you, I wouldn't be mad at all if that happened.

I would be tempted to try to get Spanglish, Ocean's 12, and Meet the Fockers for $25 brand new and sealed.

The Ocean's 11 and Ocean's 12 2 pack for 17.00 is what really tempted me. I can't find 3 preorders that I would want in the next few weeks so the other deal didn't do much for me at this time.

To the site owner; when I am interested in a title you don't list on your site, do you order it from your supplier and then ship it to me, or do you have a huge inventory that you just don't list on the site?

Anybody else find it strange that:

-"Gameseeker" just joined
-His only two posts are promoting this site
-He capitalizes almost every word just the way discountgarage did on his first two posts?

I was considering a test order, but this has me concerned...reeks of underhanded sales tactics to me. If anyone else orders from them, I'd like to hear a review of the experience.

as jetflair has pointed out, gameseeker was indeed "marlon" from "discountgarage" .. I have to say if he hadn't created his second login to spam us, I would have left this thread alone, but instead, he's now banned. I would recommend everyone to not shop at discountgarage despite whatever "good" comments may come from people. Anyone who resorts to spamming dvdtalk doesn't deserve business from it's members.
