What are Ecosts Handling & Processing Fees all about?

Just completed an order and noticed they tacked on $5 for this odd fee. What is it and why is not added to total of items the sell before hand, seems quite off to me.

Just another way to make money off of you. Just like a used car salesman, advertise low prices and then stick it to them on the end.

It's bad enough that they charge a "handling & processing fee" but what really ticks me off is that they don't tell the customer about the fee until they finally check out.

If they have to add extra charges, they need to be upfront about it.
