Okay guys, maybe this isnt a big deal or anything but it really honked me off so here it is...

Back in Sept I ordered a motorlla V300 from amazon. It came with a $200 rebate. I sent the rebate in very promptly and followed the directions to the 'T'.

Today in my mail I get this letter from amazon saying that the rebate was "receipt submitted dated prior to the qualifying period for this promotion."

After checking reciepts and copies of everything I sent off I found that I actually DID SEND IT IN CORRECTLY.

I call the number and after fighting with the electronic answering service I finally got someone. She looked my info up and said that I was right, they made a mistake and will be resubmitting my rebate. She then said that she has been dealing with 'lots of these types of phone calls and she wonders what has been going on.'

This then made me think... how many people are having this problem but not actually calling in? So, if you purchased something in the september area with a rebate, you may want to check it out.
