Heads Up - Disappearing Amazon GCs
Once again I've had a gift certificate disappear when my order went into Shipping Soon status and hence my credit card was charged the wrong amount. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me.
I don't know if I'm just lucky (again) or if this problem affects others but you might want to keep an eye on your orders if you used a gift certificate.

I tried making an order last night. never got the confirmation page or confirmation email and I lost three $25 GCs

looks like mine went through, amazon replied with order numbers and I got confirmation emails from the two affiliate stores the goods are coming from.
and I think amazon offshores their email support. my reply was signed by Vijay Vir Rana
