Ordering from Best Buy - beware
 

Just got my SpiderMan 2 DVD from Best Buy.

Instead of the DTS/Superbit version I ordered they sent me the regular SE :(

What a pain - last time I order online from this company.

[Edit: Epilogue: I called Customer Service and they said I could exchange the movie from the b&m store. Went over to the store this morning and was able to get an exchange without any issues. I'm still not going to be ordering anything from their site though]

They did you a favor. Superbite is a rip off.

But they charged him the Superbit price though ;)

Oh man Im getting mine tomorrow. Anyone else get the wrong version? I hope it does'nt happen to me watta hassle it'll be.

Not in this case. Someone posted a bunch of screenshots of both versions in a thread at HTF and the PQ is clearly superior with the Superbit.

looks like Best Buy is the Devil in this case.

Just received my SpiderMan 2 DVD. Right one, but they didn't include the bonus materials disc. Been there, done that before on a previous DVD order...Bond, James Bond! These folks appear to be brain dead. Looks like another email to BBCS.

Good luck. I just called their customer care and they were useless. Its really sad as i work in a call center and know what managers can do. The only other time i think i have ever called their number was to cancel an order about a year ago and then again they said their was nothing they could do. !!!!!!!!!

Well the last three pre-orders I have placed with bestbuy.com "Dawn of the Dead Uncut", "Van Helsing", and "Spiderman 2" all three were suppose to come with bonus discs and none of them did. After contacting customer service about the issue I always get the same 'song and dance' "the website clearly says "only good while supplies last".

I say also, clearly I pre ordered these and yet your website is still advertising the movie coming with a bonus disc. "If you don't have the bonus discs in stock why are you still advertising it?".

"We will have to look into it and have someone get back with you" which of course never happens.

However I can contribute to the employee Christmas bonus program by buying one of the hundreds of copies of the bonus disc being sold on Ebay for $20.00 and up.
