DVD empire and lost shipments?

Does anyone have any experience with how does DVD empire handles lost shipments?

According to USPS tracking, a recent shipment left my local post office 8 days ago and still hasn't made it to my house.

It was sent with free standard shipping, which the website says is not insured. Does this mean I'm screwed?

Call your CC company and tell them you never received it.There might be a wait period for delivery.

This does not mean you are screwed. Our standard free USPS shipping option is a 7-20 day delivery time.

If it still hasn't been delivered you should check with the post office because they may be waiting for you to pick it up. If no one was home and the package required a signature, or was too big to leave in your mailbox the mailman could have taken it back. Usually they leave a note when attempting delivery but don't let the lack of one stop you from checking. I know a few times I found overdue packages at the post office and never received any notification they were there.
