DDD Shipping Problem
Ok, I ordered Futurama Vol. 1 from DDD in February this year, they sent me a shipping notice on February 5th to confirm it had shipped. I wait a few months (I live in New Zealand, so I'm used to waiting. Once it took an Amazon.ca package 9 weeks to arrive, and I'm a patient person), and by June, it hasn't shown up and I get around to emailing them.
They're good, repsond quickly and say they've sent me a replacement, and that's that. It was despatched June 29th, and today on September 1st it's still not here. I've recieved about 40 packages and parcels from the US, Canada and England since February, all within a reasonable amount of time, so I don't know what to think.
I'm not sure how much help it would be to ask for another one since they'll a) think I'm lying and b) it probably wouldn't get here anyway.
Has anybody got any suggestions as to how I should go about finding out what's happened here?

I think your only option is to contact DDD and let them know the second shipment never arrived. By the way if you do a search on the store forum there were a few other threads about over sea customers having trouble with lost shipments. I think even someone from DDD made a comment in one of the threads. So at least someone at DDD is aware of the problem.

I had a little time to do some searching and found the following thread which should be helpful. It appears DDD for some reason has problems with shipments to your country.

Thanks so much for your help! I suppose I'd better cut my losses and email them about a refund.
Hopefully I won't lose any money because the NZ dollar is doing better against the US at the moment.

You aren't alone. I live in Wellington and had the same problems. There is a post about it on this forum. I eventually got my money back, but learnt a lesson. DDD are not worth the effort. I ordered from Amazon and it was here in just over a week, no problems.
My advice is to get your money back and don't use DDD again.
Cheers
