Best store to trade dvd's in? Or best deal?

Hello,
I did a search and could not find anything. Where is the best place or great deal to trade in used dvd's? I know Blockbuster has the $12.99 deal, but are the other places that have decent deals so you can unload cheap dvd's? Movie Trading Company? Wherehouse Music? FYE? Etc., etc.? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and take care!

All these shops give you so little money for DVDs. I suggest selling them yourself on eBay, Half.com or Amazon.com. You can make triple the money over trading them in to stores. Amazon and Half are particularly easy to list on.

Blockbuster has discontinued the $12.99 trade-in program.

Instead, they have started a trade-in program which will give you credit for any used discs which you can use for any purchases (new or used) as well as rentals.

Trade-in minimum is $5, but don't expect much above $10. The program is a great way to rid yourself of those cheap discs that just won't sell anywhere else.

The down side: the credit they give you goes on your account which you can use only at that particular BBV. The way to get around that is to use your account credit in the form of a gift card which can be used at any BBV.

Hope this helps!

Personally, the best is dvdempire.com. Quick and easy and they offer store credit or money back. As long as the ones you are trying to sell don't have any defects, they'll take anything for the best possible prices.
