I don't know about the digital eyes question, but you may have some luck selling you dvd's in the exchange forum here.

There's a new website out there called "ebay" that might be able to help.

www.secondspin.com

I've bought plenty of CDs from them over the past few years and have been happy with what I get, but I have never sold anything to them. I've heard that they are very picky about scratches, which is good for me as a buyer.

Edit:

Here are their prices for your DVDs, kind of low in my opinion, but then again I haven't sold DVDs for a while.

sole survivor - no price
femme fatale - $5
a bridge too far - $3
jerry seinfeld, i am telling you for the last time - $4
once a thief - $2
time machine - $4 (unless it's the 1960 movie, then $6)
tailor of panama - $3
die another day - $4
road to perdition - $5 for fullscreen, $4 for widescreen

I have sold several times to secondspin and they are great. They send a check out within two days of receiving your dvd's. Never had one rejected. Even cleaned out my vhs collection through them. Spun.com also buys, but you only get full trade in value for web credit and half the amount if you want a check. They are really only good for trading in because they will pay for shipping both ways if you buy something from their site and trade in $30 or more worth of stuff. The pre-paid label comes in the box of stuff you order.

This site sends you out a check within 48 hours. They may offer a little more than you might get from second spin?

I've had good experiences with Secondspin.com. They're great if you have a bunch of DVDs that you want to get rid of in a hurry. They've always been very quick about sending out payment checks, too. However, if you've only got a few discs to unload you may make more money on half.com or Ebay.
