BB online prices not honored problem...

I had an interesting experience late last night. Around 10pm I went online to see the weekly ad and I noticed they had the Mr Bean cartoon set on sale for $15.99. So I picked it up, orderd it and my confirmation page showed the price of $15.99. now when I got my email confirmation about 2 minutes later it showed $21.65 as the total charged. I called the BB support and they said that I missed the cheaper price. I questioned why does my confirmation show the cheaper price and why wont they honor it? They said that their online policy is they can change the price anytime without telling you....

Has this happened to anyone else before? I was just so angry and frustrated with them, I just canceled it and I probably wont go on their site again. Didnt know if this was the right forum or if it was supposed to go under another thread so mods feel free to move me.

I've had similar problems with them in the past. A few months ago, they had a sale on 20th Century Masters CDs, a kind of gretest hits budget line. All titles were supposed to be $6.99, but there was one in their database ("Sandy Denny") that was listed incorrectly at $11.99. I sent them an e-mail on Friday, and they got back with me on Monday, acknnowledging their mistake, but refusing to honor the sale price because the sale ended Saturday night. This is why I don't use BB online for everyday orders. I just use them for loss leaders and price matches in the store

If you have proof of the original price that you can e-mail Best Buy, go DIRECTLY to corporate...don't fool around with the website. The corporate e-mail can be found with a little searching on the BB Website. I've had recent problems with BB online, and Corporate cleared things up for me within 24 hours.
