Question about price matching
I have a question, its kinda dumb but I've never price matched before.
At Circuit City or Best Buy .. do you pricematch at the normal registers or do you have to specifically go to customer service area.
This is if I'm going to match a price on something I haven't bought yet, not to get a price adjusted after I already bought it.
Thanks

AS far as price matching at Best Buy all you have to do is bring in the ad to the register. They will price match it right there. Its really easy.
Warning if your add only shows a picture of the full screen version this is all youll get. This happened when Star Wars episode 2 came out. The K-mart add only had the full screen and was two dollars cheaper.

You can price-match at BestBuy at the registers, but I have found that they will not give you the extra 10% off that you should be entitled to. I buy things full price at the registers and then immediately take my purchases and receipt over to the customer service desk and price match and get the 110% of the price-match.

The registers are setup so that if you are pricematching for the first time without buying it, the cashier themselves have to manually key in the price, which most of the time they don't account for the 10%. At the customer service desk, when pricematching after sale, the computer takes off the 10% for you. Don't ask me why this is though...
