Amazon free shipping problem.

I went to order a couple of Playstation 2 games today and they both had free shipping. I left them in the cart and came back tonight to find out that they couldn't be shipped with free shipping anymore, even though the advertisement said that most PS2 games had free shipping.

I went to look at the list, and where most today were shipping with free shipping only a small handful now show up with free shipping. I went to certain other areas and I found the same odd phenomenon.

Has anyone else ever experienced this? Is it a glitch or update or what?

Or worse yet, are they all of a sudden cutting back on the free shipping?

It could be another glitch at Amazon. Sure seems they have had quite a few strange problems with the site this year.

I guess you could email or call customer service and see what they say about it. Anyway I never experienced anything like you mentioned but I will keep an eye open for it in the future.

It's not a glitch, but an update. If you've left it in your cart and not purchased the item and the price/terms changes then it will update in your cart. I've had this happen before with a items. Also, the items with free shipping may change when they feel it's starting to cost them too much money.
