The Ultimate Duplicate Shipment?
Okay, this is seriously strange...
I recently won the new NYPD Blue Season 2 boxset, via a prize drawing on another website. I'm not a fan of the show... but I figure I can always use this sort of stuff as sale or trade bait.
So, I received the set in the mail a few days later, all nice and sealed and new. End of story...
Except... (cue eerie organ music here):
Yesterday, I come home, and find a large parcel on my doorstep. Since I wasn't expecting anything of the sort, I'm naturally quite curious.
I get inside, open it up... and there are five more copies of the NYPD Blue set inside!! I laughed out loud, literally -- there were serious wires crossed somewhere along the line.
According to the address label, the shipment came directly from Fox Home Entertainment, as opposed to a distributor or middleman store.
So... what would you do? Track down this mystery, and try to return the package from whence it came? Enjoy my newfound windfall, and put up a new thread in the DVD Exchange Forum?
None of the above? I'd be interested to hear feedback on this one.

Kinda of a funny story loosely related to yours:
I once received 8 or 9 collectors editions of the Blade Runner soundtrack. The total was over 200.00 on the receipt. The shipping address was mine but the billing address was another buy.
I never ordered 1 or these CDs.
I notified the company and they told me to send them back and they would put in a refund request for the shipping when they arrived. I requested a pre paid envelope many times since this company already seemed to not know what was going on and I would never see those few bucks for shipping reimbursed.
They never agreed to send me the envelope so I kept the CDs. This was about 2 years ago or so.

Once Musicswap.com (something like that, I forget the name- they're gone now) sent me someone else's order by mistake. Over $200 in new CDs. I sent numerous emails trying to get them to pay return postage, and they never responded.

Haha. I went to Taco Bell a few weeks ago. I went through the drive-thru. After I got home, I noticed that I got the wrong order. I purchased $3 worth of stuff. And the order that I got was like $15. I popped open the bags, and there was a ton of food. So I had Taco Bell leftover for a week.
SCORE!
