InetDVD - AGH!!

so i placed an order on 8/17 for some dvd cases... spent $60+.. got 2 email confirmations right away, and my credit card was charged on 8/19.

now today, 17 days after i placed my order, i still don't have it. so i decided to check the status on the website, and it says "Issue. Please contact Customer Service." no email, no phone call. just a note on the website under my order status that says there's an issue with my order and *I* need to contact *them*... what a crock!

so i sent them an email this morning. waiting to hear back.. but come on!! they charged my card over 2 weeks ago, and now there's an issue with my order?? what if i never checked my status at the website?? would they have just taken my money??

jeez, best case selection anywhere, but would it be so much to ask them to actually send me my order??

anyone else have any issues with them??

I've never had a problem with them and done quite a bit of business with them over the years. Never had anything like what you described happen to me. Are you sure that maybe they did e-mail you and it either got accidentally deleted or sent to your junk mail folder and deleted? Because I have had that happen to me with other stores in the past.

As an alternative might I suggest:

US Plastics Corp

$2.04 for the 7 disc Alpha compared to Inet's $3.99.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread as I'm currently having my own nightmare experience. It's been five wks since first ordered and recieved confirmation...nothing...nada...zip. The last ten days have been nothing but answering machines and unreturned calls and emails. What a crock!

I am close to filing a report with the BBB, and considering what other actions I can take.

Well, if you paid via credit card.....just call your cc company and they probably can remove the charge. Then, open a BBB file on them.

If it was a mastercard or visa debit card, they might still do something about it.

More of the same

I have an order being handled exactly the same - no notice of an "Issue", had to check the status online after waiting three weeks to find out why shipment hadn't arrived. Another two weeks later, a dozen phone calls, but no responces. So-called Customer Support no longer even provides for leaving a message...the box is full.

I don't know what this company has done in the past. Since this thread is not flooded with "me too" posts, it must have been okay. At this moment though, they look pretty shady.

Last year I ordered about 20 various size multiple disc cases from Inet. They never sent me the four 4 disc alphas that I ordered. I sent several emails and never received an answer to any of them. I was never able to contact customer service either. Eventually I forgot about it, when I finally tried to get my money back from paypal it was too late. I will never shop there again. Their prices are high anyway.
