DDD's customer service
Have any of you experienced problems with DeepDiscountDVD's customer service lately? I mailed them two different things over a week ago, and still no response. In my experience, this is the slowest they've ever been. At this point, I'm beginning to wonder if they're ever going to return my e-mails period.

They never responded to my last two emails. I had no trouble getting them on the phone (but it kind of defeats one of the purposes of shopping online when you have to call).

Exactly why they lost a sale. I would rather have given them my money, as I like them, and they have generally good prices. However, part of my email was to ask about pricematching. I had no intention of waiting for the sale price to go away at the other etailer, so I ended up ordering everything elsewhere. I shop online so I don't have to call.

I have been ordereing from them for three years. The customer service used to be excellent.
Now, it is terrible.
I am seriously thinking of not ordering any longer with them. If they are reading this forum (as they often do), DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!
Management has gone to hell over there.

I agree
I sent in 2 separate price match requests. After 5 days went by with no response, I called them. I told them that I wanted to do a price match to another etailor. She said I would have to e-mail the request in. I said "How long do I have to wait for a price match request to be fulfilled?" She stated "No more than 3 days." I said "Ok, I already sent them in and today is the 5th day. Now what do I do?"
She then, with a sigh, took my order over the phone.
What a hassle.
I agree that service has gone down hill. Sad, because I have spent hundreds of dollars there that will probably go to someone else now.

They are getting worse and worse lately. I used to be confident with them and just wait for price match e-mails to come. But now I have missed out on 2 matches. They haven't even responded to my complaints yet. I actually use them exclusively for my dvd purchases but am afraid I may go elsewhere soon. The service I am used to has all but faded away.

Takes awhile for them to respond. But, when they do, it's usually pleasent.
Last time I had a problem, they accidently deleted one of my orders.
In compensation, they gave me 10% off my next order.
Would have been prudent of them to see how much I could order when presented with a 10% off DDD cert.

I always seem to have problems when ordering from DDD. I ordered The Rock Criterion and the first time receiving it after it was backordered for 2 weeks I had a freeze at dual layer change (not their fault) and quickly sent it back for an exchange. Two weeks go by and hear nothing from them, then I receive an email from them asking about their customer service. I inquire that I had a return and have not seen anything back from it yet.
I then get an email with a shipping notice saying that my title has been shipped. I recieve the DVD again and disk 1 has fallen out and is all scratched up inside the case. Not wanting to pay $30 for a scratched up Criterion dvd I return it again for the second time. Heres to hoping 3rd time is a charm.

I think emailing them is next to futile lately. I have been waiting for a credit for a returned cracked disc from them for 3 months. Watch out for lost returns I am out 24 bucks.
not to mention their shipping methods seems to cause excessive damage to the merchandise.
