For the past 3 weeks i've been trying to buy the 4th season box set of Buffy, and in 2 of those weeks the first season of Angel. And they constantly show it on their website as available, but the one here in Manhattan has NOT restocked it for 3 weeks! And mind you, I work only 2 blocks away, so I've tried them a few times (meaning I couldn't have missed it..)

Sorry...I just felt like ranting for a miniute....

It's not just the store in Manhattan, I assure you... When the Das Boot Superbit came out, I picked up the only - defective - copy in the store... After returning it, I decided to wait and grab it when it came back in stock. No biggie. A month later and they still had none. So, I grabbed it the last time I was in Nashville... Two weeks later, my store gets two copies in... They're still there and neither has sold.

But, yeah, if you're kicking the sheets for Buffy, just grab it elsewhere or reserve it for in store pickup.

I know what store you're talking about. The Chelsea one.

Yeah, they really suck ass at telling you if your Raincheck items are in. You usually have to come in and check for yourself if a item is back in stock.

I hate when they ask me if they can help because I know they're just going to to tell me the same ol' crap:

"Oh, if you don't see it on the rack then it means we're out of stock on it. Order it on our website, there's free shipping."

Fry's is even worse. They don't even put new releases out until a week or so AFTER the street dates, and sometimes longer.
