Check out any of the music traders that are still around. There's also a few stores around the Sports Arena.
A new store called Mojo Sounds (formerly Music Trader) in Pacific Beach just opened up that claims to have 10,000 new/used DVDs.

There's a place on Clairemont Mesa Blvd called Movies 2 Sell that has used DVDs. I've gotten a few OOP disks there for reasonable prices and have seen an occasional bargain on box sets. Most of the stuff I can still get cheaper from CH. There are also a few Wherehouse stores around, although several of them are currently having going-out-of-business sales. Also SecondSpin.com on Garnet in Pacific Beach.

Other than the places already mentioned, try Blow Out Video on the corner of Midway and Rosecrans in Pt Loma.
If you find yourself in North County, try Lou's in Encinitas.

You could try the swap meet at the sports arena. Although I have not been there for a while.
I was at the wharehouse going OOB sale. They had nothing but crap and the prices were not very good.
Your best bets are the movie trader/mojo sounds on Garnet, I think on the corner of Felspar. And second spin also on Garnet.
Over by the sports Arena Blow out video has a nice selection thogh the prices are not great. There is a music trader on midway but selection is not very good. The Hollywood video Acroos from the sports arena has a good selection of rcent releases for sale used. And Bob will put them in a Keepcase rather than the lock/rental case.
Movies to sell is very good. I have not been there for a while iether.
When are you going top be in town?

I miss San Diego. Moved out of Cali in 96, have missed SD ever since.
Music Traders seems to be the obvious choice to be doing DVDs. Lord knows I spent enough money there for CDs.
