Problems with Bank One Amazon GCs....anyone else?

In the most recent billing cycle for my Bank One Amazon card, dated May 6th, I had accumulated enough points to receive a $25 GC.

As of today, the GC has not arrived by Pony Express, by airmail, by train, or by ptarmigan, which is a seldom used form of mail delivery, due to the fact that the ptarmigan's feet are so covered with feathers that the added weight of the mail bags causes them to fall from the sky, wrecking havoc and causing havoc to run amok.

To find out where in the chain, or where in the hell, my gift certificate is, I contacted Bank One. Bank One courteously, and without the slightest bit of insouciance, suggested that I might contact Amazon, as they had no idea in hell what I was talking about.

Thus, in the spirt of the times, I contacted Amazon, putting the screws to their feet, whatever that's supposed to mean. Amazon, in an extremely courteous manner, suggested that I contact Bank One, as they had no idea in hell what I was talking about.

The next bit, I'll cover realfast: contacted Bank One again, they said contact Amazon again; contacted Amazon again, they said contact Bank One again; contacted Bank One again, they said talk to Amazon, ad infinitum, ad nauseam, etc etc etc.

My query to the general forum is thus: does anyone have any idea in hell who in the hell I could contact at Bank One who might have the slightest niggling notion in hell as to what in the hell is going on with their Amazon rewards program?

What about contacting FirstUSA? Aren't they taking over the card now? I keep getting redirected to their site when I try to sign in on the BankOne website.
