Media Play and Entertainment Weekly...
my friend goes into Media Play yesterday and buys a CD, at the checkout they ask her if she wants to sign up for a free trial of Entertainment Weekly, and she says no, he explains it a little and again she says no, he staples the info to her receipt and she tells him, i do not want charged for this, and he says she wont. later on, she notices on her receipt it says EW free trial on it.
this is the first i heard about this kind of "deal" going on at Media Play, does anyone have any more information about this? i assume she will have to cancel this magazine to avoid being charged? anyone with any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

They mention it every time I'm in there, but they've never been pushy or automatically signed me up for it.
Did she pay via credit card or is he a Rewards member? If not, how would they charge her?
