I'm not sure where you're located but there's a B&M location of SecondSpin.com here and they sell new DVDs. Prices aren't impressive, though.

If you can't find the discs you want elsewhere new, then give them a shot. They do have a 30 day return policy against defects. Or else you can visit eBayville... and you can toss out any kind of guarantee.

Every disc I've purchased at the B&M is mint including Dead Ringers which I watched last night and enjoyed immensely.

I just recently started buying used DVDs at Second Spin... and could not be more pleased. I never picked up Gladiator, and I decided to add it to an order that had some rare DVDs in it.

A week after it came in, my kids and I (yeah, I know, it's gory) watched Gladiator (only the second movie we've seen in DTS!!!)

Half way through the flick the movie just stopped dead. I couldn't chapter skip. I even restarted the player, and used chapter selection and couldn't get past the glitch. When looking at the DVD it looks dead perfect (no scratches, fog, etc... just like every DVD I have ever gotten from Second Spin).

Since this was being played on my new Panasonic 5dvd changer I thought I got a screwy player. Took Gladiator upstairs and had exactly the same experience with the Toshiba single DVD player.

I emailed Second Spin (this was my 6th order with them). WITHOUT sending Gladiator back to them, they sent out a replacement which I received 3 days later.

I can't say enough about this company. Their used product is pristine, prices are reasonable, they occassionally have rare DVDs that you can't find online (other tlan FleaBay), and their customer service is steller. Highly recommended.

how does the process work if you buy and sell at the same time?

do you have to provide your own packing materials and ship the discs in? i'd like to use the credit i get to buy some used dvds...do i have to wait until they recieive and process my discs before i place my order for their discs? how exactly does their process work? their webpage isn't very clear.

They seem to have some decent deals on anime if you look.

I just snagged Noir Vol2 for $10.99, which was ~$8 cheaper than everyone else, new. (Just came out last week, how used could it be?).

Also grabbed Blue Seed Perfect Collection for $30.

$2.85 for shipping, so if all is well, I should be ok. AFAIK they don't sell imports/bootlegs- it says Region 1 only in their FAQ.
