Amazon.com accepts my VISA Electron! (or do they?)
I just placed an order at Amazon.com and decided to try to use my VISA Electron card just for the hell of it. It's not a credit card, I know, but it worked at Amazon.com and Amazon.de, though those are located in Europe, not in the States.
Anyway, I didn't get an error message of any kind, so it looks like Amazon accepted my card. But did they really? I don't want to ask them in case it's a grey area... Since I'd otherwise be using my parents' VISA I thought it'd be practical to pay for the order myself.
So am I just going to get an e-mail saying my payment method was not accepted when the order is ready to ship? Or are they actually going to go through with this?

They often 'reserve' funds as soon as you enter the order. If your CC is a no-go they tell you within 24 hours. As long as it has 16 numbers and an exp date, I think amazon couldn't care less about the logo.
