ebay - can no longer search "completed items"?

Has ebay taken this feature away. I have not been able to search finished items for a few weeks now. The option is no longer there.

This makes the entire search engine useless for someone like myself.

They had a notice up for at least 4 months saying the page was going away...

Just go to Advanced Search and check the 'Completed Items only' checkbox. What's so hard about that?

What do you mean by "the page"?

Are you saying that they are taking away the option to search by completed item? Or just specific page (the advanced search page?)

I just do a normal search for whatever I'm looking for than then click the "Completed items" link on the left hand side. It's still there.

That's what I do and yes, I just saw it also (in the "Display" box on the left side).

That is a very useful feature to see what items are selling for, which helps me determine what my maximum bid should be.

Hmm, that checkbox certainly isn't there for me. When you say normal search, I assume you are referring to clicking the big, blue "search" button on the ebay homepage. i.e. http://pages.ebay.com/search/items/basicsearch.html

Anyway, going to the "Advanced Search" page worked. I'm not sure how I missed it before.

After you do a search from the above link, or from the home page, or from wherever, ebay will give you a list of auctions that meet your criteria. On that page, on the left there will be a box entitled "Display". Under Display, there is an option entitled "Completed Items". Click on that.

They had a search page expressly for searching for completed items. It's gone now.

Ahhhh... I think I remember that, although I think it's been gone for a good while.
