Has anyone received their BTTF ffrom Amazon.ca yet?
If so, what cover did they send?

I've read in other threads that people have received it, and it is the bilingual packaging like all other Canadian vendors.

Bilingual package. Deceptive advertising at the least. They show the English cover on their site but ship the bilingual cover. They show 4 versions of BTTF on their site and I made certain I picked the same ASIN (product ID) as the widescreen on the Amazon.com site but still got the bilingual version. I don't imagine people ordering from Amazon.com got a bilingual version. Looks like that AISN doesn't mean a damn thing.

This is exactly why I asked. I think that this is a form of false advertising on their side. You must have payed for faster shipping, huh?

Nope. USPS delivered my preorder Saturday.

at least one of the dvd's is fine. I just wish i did not have to send in my copies for part 2 and 3 due to them being screwed up

I hope the dvd's will get replaced even though they are canadian dvd's

I don't see how it is false advertising, regardless of number, when you know you are buying from a Canadian site. I think the bilingual cover is one of the caveats of shopping Amazon.ca to save money.

Received mine hier... I really have no problem with bilingual packaging .. just a little more distinctive, that's all.

Got mine on the 26th, 1.85/1 with the French and English cover.

i still haven't received mine. it's probably lost by now. Anyone know how amazon.ca is with replacements? Do you know if they'll upgrade my shipping (to the U.S.) on the replacement?

Lost? It's only been three weeks, and on top of that, it was the holiday season. It should still come... you have to give it some time. It took over three weeks for me to receive Band of Brothers.

Well.. it was shipped on 12/12/02, so this Thursday will make it 4 weeks. I know their "shipping estimate" says December 27-January 8, so i'll give it until then to call them, but it's not like it should take THAT long for something to get over the border into NY... all these other guys say they got theirs about 2 weeks ago.

.. maybe i'm impatient. Oh well, a month is patient enough for me.

Wow...I just got OZ Season 2 today...and it shipped 1/3. That's 10 days and it's here. Much better than the 3 weeks+ it took for Band of Brothers.
