Whats with the USPS

I received a sticker on my door on Monday to sign to receive a package from GroovieMovies.com.So I sign it and leave it on my door on Tuesday.Tuesday comes and goes still no package. So on Wednesday I placed the signed sticker in my mail box.Received mail on Wednesday but still no package.Whats up with these people-Is delivering a package that difficult(maybe for Cliff Clavin).

In the past few years I've lived at two different addresses, and at both places, whenever I got a package slip from the USPS, regardless of whether it had a place to sign for it or not, I had to go to the local office to pick it up. You may want to try that. It could be sitting there.

I've found out that the easiest way to handle this problem is to call the USPS toll-free phone number on your notice (usually on the back), and ask the rep to schedule a "package re-delivery". Just give them your name, address, the package number on the notice, and the date you want it re-delivered. They'll forward the info on to your local P.O., and your package is given a special re-delivery tag or notice. Yep, it takes a little more time, but I do get my packages when I want them. HTH!

Your local office might have extended window hours during the holiday season like mine does, so you can go down and pick it up without missing any work if that is what you decide you want to do.

Why is it grooviemovies.com's fault that the USPS can't/won't deliver the package? I fail to see the connection...?
