Interesting, I never knew such a thing existed. Now I need to ask myself how can I live without one with over 600 DVDs in my collection.

I bought two of these at Suncoast about three years ago (I don't know if they still carry them). They are wonderful little gadgets.
Now if I only knew where they were.![Frown](/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I'll have a DVD Empire order shipped this month so I hope I get one and don't lose it!

The CD ones often cut into the jewel box a bit and put a "score" on the plastic. If you're careful, you can avoid this... but I get a lot of used CDs with the cases scraped.
I'm not sure if the DVD version does the same thing, but I thought I'd let people know so they don't hack up their cases.
(And I have to agree with LASERMOVIES. In my life, I've probably opened about 3 or 4 thousand DVDs and CDs. I've never really felt the need for a tool to accomplish this. Opposable thumbs work just fine.)
