any problem with cdnow?
my item has not turned up after waiting for 3 weeks. does this got to do with the recent news of cdnow moving their operation elsewhere?

I used to order a lot of CDs from them, but I had to stop because they apparently had multiple shipping centers and would hit me with the initial shipping charge for each shipment out of each one. So if I ordered 5 items, and it was shipped from 3 different warehouses I would have to pay 2.95 + 1.00 per item (or whatever the rate is) 3 times. Any savings I was getting was wiped out by the high shipping charge. Why should I pay more because of there screwy warehouse system?
I think I experienced some long delays in shipping, but not as long as yours.

It seems as though they have teamed up with Amazon.com. I've tried to access their site and it takes me to Amazon/CDnow. I have an order for the three new Disney Treasures titles that I used a $15.00 coupon on and I have a feeling I will be getting Scre*ed on this one!

As far as shipping delays go - i've never really had a problem with delays. They were my main supplier of DVDs this past summer. There was one shipment that was late [a week] so I called them up and they promptly sent me a replacement. YMMV.

I noticed the same thing about CDNow's website. After some looking around, I found the following link on the hybrid site:
http://cdnowpbc.com/cgi-bin/mserver/...T/history.html
There, I was able to check on my previous CDNow order with one unshipped item. I'm worried that the remaining disc in my order won't be shipped - is there legitimate cause for concern? Should I contact CDNow (or whatever it's called nowadays)?
