Positive Return Experience w/ CD-Wow.Net

I recently bought the Blues Brothers R3 version for $10.95 shipped. When I played the movie, I found a glitch in it that occured on both of my players. I contacted customer service and promptly got an e-mail saying they would send out a replacement immediately. Then I received a follow up e-mail giving me instructions on where to send my return. Apparently they ship out of Japan, but are based in the UK. So, needless to say, I wasn't thrilled about sending the package back because of the shipping charges. In the e-mail, they said they would offset the postage charges by offering two pounds off my next order, which I think comes out to $3.50 or so USD. At the post office, I was informed I had two choices for shipping, $7.55 Air for 7-10 days, or $3.85 Boat for 6-8 weeks. That seemed like an awfully long time to send a return, so I opted for the expensive option. I figured CD-Wow wouldn't reimburse me for the difference, but I didn't want to get double charged if the package got lost. But I e-emailed them anyway and told them what happened. They asked me to e-mail a copy of the postal receipt, which I did, and I just received an e-voucher for $8 USD for my next order. I thought this was pretty generous, even though the disc was defective. Ordering overseas usually worries me, but this is the first problem I've had, and they took good care of me. Just thought I'd share! Btw, they also carry R1 DVDs, but they aren't usually as cost effective as buying from US etailers. However, check out their CD selection, because I picked up a cool Roger Waters Import CD, that hasn't been released here, and it was only $8.95 shipped!

I agree. I've ordered from them 3 or 4 times, spending a couple hundred dollars and they've been really good with service. Shipping overseas is free and its fast for international shipping, faster than "free shipping" offered by some U.S. vendors. Usually takes no more than 7 days.

How much did this thing weigh as that seems a bit too high.
