Best Buy and pricematching after the fact
I pre-ordered Spirit : Stallion the the Cimmarron at BB.com thinking that they'd drop the price from $19.99 around release date. Well, they didnt and now Circuit City is selling Spirit for $15.99. #1 can I take it into BB and get them to credit me the $4? #2 PMing wont affect the $5 coupon will it?? Thanks.
PS..They already shipped the order, so I cant really cancel it.

bestbuy.com won't price match, even if you try it at a local BB. However, you can return your online copy to the local store and then buy another copy there with price match, or just go buy at CC. It won't affect your $5 DC.
For some stupid reason, if your online order is damaged upon arrival and you bring it to the local BB to exchange, they won't do it. They will ask you to return your online order there and re-purchase another copy at the store. YMMV.

Well, from the look of things I won't be getting it tomorrow (19th release date) in the mail from BB. I'll probly go over to Kmart and see if they have any widescreen versions (maybe/maybe not--you know Kmart and WS ). If they do then I'll return the BB one and from the sound of things I'll still end up with the $5 GC. I havent seen anything on the website to indicate that they'll want the GC back if I return Spirit. If Kmart has no widescreens, then I'll just stick with the BB copy.
Thanks for the responses
