No more Pre-Orders @ CDNow?

I just tried to order some Pre-Orders at CDNow with the 15% off discount and it says that the system is unavailable. Does anyone know if this is temporary or permanent.

I was trying to order About A Boy and Back to the Future Trilogy.

CDNow is going through a huge restructuring at the moment. They are in the process of closing their original PA facility and laying everyone there off, and moving all operations to the BMG offices in NY.

They are not, however, going out of business, and remain the number two largest retailer of CDs.

Maybe not so permanent after all.. I just was at the site this morning (11/14) and now they have a bunch of movie DVD pre-orders available. There don't seem to be any beyond the end of December so this is still fewer than they had as of last week. (For example on 11/10 I pre-ordered a DVD that is not being released until March 2003.) So the question is whether or not they plan to continue with pre-orders again...but perhaps just not list them out as far in advance as they had done previously.
