How Do You Refuse A Shipment From An Online Store?

A about a week or two ago I tried to contact an online store to tell them to cancel an order. When I've contacted them in the past they have been very quick to repsond. But when I go to cancel an order they never get back to me......till I get what looks like an shipment notice.

I've contacted my CC to see if there is a sharge from this company. So hopfully they will let me know ASAP.

Now....when the package comes do I just "Return To Sender" or do I take it to the post office and refuse it? I've never done either of these before and I'm curious about it. I'm looking around on the USPS web page and I'm not seeing anything that ehlps.

Just write RTS or write it out Return to Sender on the box and if it fits on your outbound mail slot stick it there. Otherwise just take it back to the Post Office. Do NOT open it though, because then it cannot be returned RTS.

I usually write "REFUSED" in bold, capital letters and bring it back to the post office.
