AVOID DVDWORLDONLINE.com !!!

I just wanted to give you guys the heads up and tell you to avoid DVD World Online at http://www.dvdworldonline.com at all costs.

They are a fraud. You will order DVDs from them and they will lie to you about shipping it and give you the run around about what may have happened to them.

They never respond to phone calls and rarely respond to emails.

They dont accept credit cards and say that they are having "server upgrades". They have stated that message for couple months now. The reason is because this merchant has had piles upon piles of chargebacks.

That company is a total fraud. He claims to be the 2nd or 3rd largest retailer in the world. I bet none of you have even heard of this company.

Dont do business with them, they will just take your money and will not send you the profit. When you question them about it, they will lie and eventually not even respond to you. Dont waste your time having to ultimately get your money back the hard way.

Run by the scum of the Earth who feed off people just trying to look for a good deal on DVDs.

Also, read the numerous bad reviews they have on www.bizrate.com

Just curious, what payment method do they request if they won't take credit cards?

PayPal and eChecks.

Yeah, the 2nd or 3rd largest etailer in the world can't take the time or effort to make a professional looking website! Their site looks like a 7th grader's html project done with something basic like Netscape Composer.

Re: AVOID DVDWORLDONLINE.com !!!

BUYER'S BEWARE!!!! They've had 119 complaints filed against them with the Better Business Bureau in NYC within the past 12 months, and have only responded to 3 complaints according to the BBB records; and, they only resolved 2 complaints to the customer's satisfaction of the 119 complaints. Like the others, I filed a complaint with the BBB in NYC and have not recived any response from DVD World Inc. I ordered $200 worth of DVDs and after 6 weeks still have not received them, nor have they ever responded to any of my email inquiries regarding tracking information. Their voicemail has been full for a month so you cannot leave a message. Also, their web site was down for 4 days in a row a few weeks ago. ??? Their web site is in business, but I'm not sure the company is. I consider them scam artist for having a we site in business while they are totally unresponsive to any communication and do not deliver goods ordered. Another Bernard Madoff?

Re: AVOID DVDWORLDONLINE.com !!!

Honestly, anyone who is too lazy to look up a website with the BBB or other references, deserves to be ripped off. I mean no disrespect, it's just my opinion.
