Has anyone received their LOTR from Amazon?
I ordered it 2 months ago (along with ST:TWOK), and they still haven't shipped them. I sent them an email and here is how they responded:
Thank you for writing to Amazon.com. I'm sorry about the delay in shipping rest of your order (#xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx).
We have ordered copies of, "The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring (Widescreen Edition)" from our supplier, but unfortunately we have not yet received them. We currently expect to be able to deliver it by August 12, 2002.
Further, to compensate you for this unexpected delay to the rest of your order, for the item, "Star Trek II - The Wrath of Khan
(Director's Edition)" I've authorized shipment of this item that we
currently have on hand, at no additional cost to you. Once it has
shipped, we'll send you an e-mail message confirming the date,
contents, and method of your shipment.
