Post Office Nightmare Story (DVDs Damaged Like None Other)
#26
I once ordered a CD online from a store that didn't believe me when I repeatedly emailed them to tell them I never got it. And I never got it still. They blew me off and did nothing for me (forgot the name of the store at the moment, it was a rare CD I ordered from what I now refer to as some fly by night site. I swear I will only stick to reputable shops for all my online purchases now or live without the item). After seeing this thread, it makes me believe they did mail it, but makes me wonder even more now if it got severely damaged somewhere on the way. I also never got a package from Amazon.com the post office was unable to tell me what happened to, but thankfully amazon.com replaced my order for free.

I once received a DVD in a padded mailer, the DVD's snapper case was literally half the thickness of a normal snapper, and the disc was shattered in a million pieces. It looked to me that it had been rolled over by a 1-ton press.

Well today is August 2nd and I still have no playable DVDs. Apparently replacements were sent out via Priority Mail on Monday which is 2-3 days. The sucky thing is I am moving back to school on Sunday and all I have is $50 worth of junk. DDD may have lost me even though they do have very good prices. More to come hopefully.....
